I'm Back!

I'm back at doing portrait pictures!! I started back with 3 sessions in one day-all with families I absolutely adore!! Here are some previews:

Time for a break

The last part of 2013 has been a challenging one for me due to some family health problems. Add to that the fact that I have been busier than ever with photography, Jess and Jen Do Weddings has been taking off (yay!), I have a regular 40hour/week day job, a busy 21 month old and a wonderful husband-lets just say my time has been stretched thin!!!! Thru it all I have decided to take a slight leave of absence :) from J.Lynn Photography to focus on my family and friends (if I still have any??!!) and also to concentrate more on Jess & Jen Do Weddings (it is after all Jess & Jen!!). I meant to write this and include some of the pictures from my last sessions that I have yet to blog, but seeing as how it has been about 3 weeks since I made this decision and I have yet to do it I decided to stop kidding myself!! Maybe someday I'll get around to it so feel free to stop back once in awhile :)

C Family {St. Peter, MN Family Photographer}

This family was so much fun, which I think comes across in the pictures. The kids were great, the littlest guy even helped pick out some spots :) I love mixing fun times in between the posed pictures so I asked what the kids like to do together at home and they said tag, so they played tag! Thankfully mom was relaxed and didn't mind if they got a little dirty because, well, the boys did :)

I have been taking pictures for this family for the past ? years! I have loved seeing their boys grow up (even if it does mean that Lil' E hides every time he sees me ;) . Their sessions are always fun and the boys are perfect models. This particular session involved practicing game faces, wrestling moves and time out from pictures for me and the boys to throw leaves at each other :)

This family was so much fun! The littlest cutie was turning 2 and like any 2 year old, had plenty of energy! Her older sister LOVED to get her picture taken and her brother was like super brother-so nice to see how great he was with his sisters!!

The below picture is one of those outtakes that made me laugh-big sister's expression is priceless!

**I have been having major technical issues so this post is very over due!!**
We lucked out and did this senior session in the one area that it didn't rain at and before it got too hot! And can I say, I wish I looked like her when I was senior-so beautiful!

The S Family {Crystal, MN Family Photographer}

Seeing my best friend and her family is awesome enough, getting to take their pictures was icing on the cake! Their adorable little girl just turned one so we got together for her 1 year pictures and some family pictures.

Mom and dad were right by her, I swear she was not in danger!
